Sideboard/Dining Room Buffet (sold)
This Sideboard was commissioned by a customer to complement her antique dining room set - a missing piece in her collection. Inspiration for its design was gained from an early 20th Century Scottish piece of furniture. Constructed of quarter sawn with oak, this beautiful piece has 4 storage compartments to store dinnerware, linens and other large items. The 2 drawers open and close with ease with undermount drawer slides and are constructed with dovetail joinery. As a signature element of Giuseppe's original creations, this piece has 2 hidden compartments that open with the push of a button, only known to the owner.
Fluted and hand-turned legs, fluted inserts on each drawer and genuine antique solid brass hardware add the finishing touches.
